Why we choose to grow slowly and thoughtfully
Growth is often treated like a race. Bigger collections. Faster launches. More, all the time. But from the beginning, we made a conscious decision that Lion Wild would grow differently.
Slowly. Thoughtfully. On purpose.
Growing slowly allows us to stay close to what we create. It means we can be intentional with each piece, each collection, and each decision. Nothing is rushed for the sake of keeping up. Nothing is released before it feels ready.
Thoughtful growth gives us space to ask better questions. Does this piece fit into everyday life? Will it be worn often? Does it feel true to who we are and what Lion Wild stands for?
If the answer isn’t clear, we wait.
Choosing a slower pace also means choosing quality over quantity. It means designing pieces meant to last beyond a season, rather than chasing trends that disappear as quickly as they arrive. It’s about creating jewellery that feels relevant years from now, not just right now.

Growing thoughtfully also keeps us accountable.
When you grow at a pace you can manage, you stay connected to the details. The feedback. The conversations. The small adjustments that make a big difference over time. You stay present with your community rather than removed from it.
There’s also a level of trust that comes with slow growth. Trust that good things don’t need to be rushed. Trust that the right pieces will find their people. Trust that building something meaningful takes time.
We believe longevity matters more than speed.
That belief shapes everything we do. From how collections are released, to how restocks are planned, to how we choose what comes next. It’s why some pieces sell out and take time to return. Not because of hype, but because we refuse to compromise the process.
Growing slowly doesn’t mean standing still. It means moving forward with intention.
For us, thoughtful growth is about building something that lasts. Something that feels steady. Something we’re proud of at every stage.
And that’s a pace we’re happy to keep.
